Introduction
Eric Bennett is a supporting protagonist of Samantha’s Quest: Isles of Galerock. He is a sincere and hospitable 24-year-old young man and works at Cafe Connoisseur as a cashier and chef. When Eric hears Clara scream, he rushes out of the cafe to check on her, which is when he meets Amy, who fills him in on the situation.
Appearance
Eric has fair skin, pale bluish-grey eyes, and straight brown-coloured hair with a fringe. He wears a white buttoned shirt, a brown belt, black pants, and dark brown shoes.
Eric has a smart casual appearance and normally dresses this way for both work and leisure. Eric has the appearance of someone who is both tidy and gentle.
Personality
Eric is sincere, caring, gentle, hospitable, and slightly awkward socially. Eric’s caring nature shines through when he rushes out of the cafe in episode 8 to check to see if Amy is okay. He even enters the portal with her when Riley arrives to rescue Clara, Samantha, and Lucinda.
Eric’s awkwardness is seen especially when he enters the portal. For example, in episode 9, after the armoured man teleports away, Eric blurts out his shock over this, asking if he’s the only sane one among everyone (played for humour).
Eric is also known for his hospitality and kindness. After Clara is rescued by Samantha and Riley, and brought back to safety in episode 9, Eric invites her and the others to his cafe, where he gives them a free meal to make her feel better. When Clara thanks him for this, Eric says she deserves it after all she’s been through.
Furthermore, when Clara expresses doubts about her future in zoology, Eric joins in with the others who are trying to comfort her, and says he thinks she’ll make a great zoologist (episode 9).

Role in the Story
At the moment Eric plays more of a supportive role in the story. He first appears in episode 6, where he serves Samantha, Lucinda, and Clara food at Cafe Connoisseur. He later becomes more involved in the plot as he enters the portal to support the heroes in episode 9, and witnesses the armoured man’s actions. Eric’s role in the story will grow as the story progresses.
