Introduction: Episode 7 Released
Hello, this is Sean here with just a brief announcement.
Yesterday I finally released the final/definitive edition of Part 7, titled “Samantha’s Quest: Isles of Galerock (Episode 7)“. Three months earlier I released the final/definitive edition of Part 6, so Episode 7 took quite a while to create.
This was due to a variety of factors, including my work outside of Samantha’s Quest keeping me occupied, some major technical difficulties related to the AI voices I use in this series, and the extra effort I’ve been putting into these final/definitive editions.
Thankfully, those technical difficulties have now been resolved.
Samantha’s Quest Milestone
The release of the final edition of Episode 7 marks a key milestone in Samantha’s Quest. Originally, I recorded Parts 1–5 and Parts 6–7 differently from the current method I use to record the series, which began with Part 8.
This means that every episode of Samantha’s Quest published on this website and the official YouTube channel has now been recorded using the best method and quality.
I will still release the final editions of Parts 8–10, since there is still some slight room for improvement in those videos. But hopefully it will take less time compared to the first seven videos, due to the overall improvement in quality from Part 8 onward.
Regarding Some Final Edition Episodes Being Re-Released
I think it’s also worth mentioning, for those who have noticed, why I re-released Episode 6 at the same time as I released Episode 7 (I did this for Episode 5 too, when I released Episode 6).
The reason is simply because I made some minor environmental changes in Episode 7 that slightly affected the environment of Episode 6. So, for consistency, I decided to re-render Episode 6 and re-upload it at the same time as I uploaded Episode 7, since that way viewers would receive not only an updated version of the previous episode, but also a new episode.
Normally I would not re-upload an episode for such minor reasons. However, since the audience for this series is still so small, I figured it would not make that much of a difference.
That being said, I will not make a practice of this, and as a general rule, once I have finished and published the final/definitive editions of each video, I will leave them as-is, especially once Episode 10 is complete, so that I can move on to new episodes.
Fun Fact/Trivia in Episode 7
In the original video, “Part 7”, when Samantha, Clara, and Lucinda cross the road near the beginning, it was a zebra crossing. In the current video, the final/definitive edition, “Episode 7”, it’s no longer a zebra crossing, but now a traffic-light-controlled pedestrian crossing.

The reason I made this change is because I felt that a zebra crossing would be more suitable for a quieter area, as opposed to a prominent road like this one where there would likely be a lot of traffic. I modelled all the traffic lights myself, so it did take quite a bit of work, but in the end, I think it was worth it.
This is just one of many examples of how the final/definitive editions differ from the previous versions (both original and remastered).
Conclusion: Every Day Is a Gift from God
That’s all I have to say for now.
For as long as God still allows me to live in this world, I want to continue making Samantha’s Quest and bring it to its conclusion.
I sincerely hope that this series brings at least some warmth, hope, joy, and laughter to people, even though it’s still not very well-known. God willing, I’ll write here again in the next few months regarding the next update.
